Mr. Lozinak is responsible for all the property operations of Waterton Residential. Previously, Mr. Lozinak worked for ING Clarion over the course of six plus years, serving as Senior Vice President and Asset Director of Multifamily Properties. Mr. Lozinak created the firm’s multifamily property management platform including the development of its vision, mission and service promises as well as its operating systems and procedures. In addition to overseeing ING Clarion’s national portfolio of approximately 8,000 units with a gross asset value of over $1 billion, Mr. Lozinak worked in conjunction with the acquisition teams to acquire 17 assets totaling approximately 6,300 units and $750 million and was a key member of ING Clarion’s acquisition of Gables Residential Trust in 2005. He also led the disposition of over $350 million of assets in the liquidation of ING Residential Fund USA.
From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Lozinak held a number of management positions with Archstone Communities Trust. During his tenure at Archstone, he oversaw portfolios ranging in size from 520 units and $20 million to over 7,500 units and $450 million in various markets including Dallas, Houston, El Paso and Salt Lake City.
Mr. Lozinak graduated with honors from St. Bonaventure University in New York with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Accounting. After graduation, he served in the United States Army for over six years attaining the rank of Captain. Mr. Lozinak is a member of the Board of Directors for the Chicagoland Apartment Association and is a member of the National Multi Housing Council Executive Committee.
